Happy March!
Wow... what a couple few days. The weekend was fun, as predicted! Saturday we went down to Fox River then spent the evening with our friends who also have 2 kids who were born within months of our two. The babies starred and the preschoolers ran wild. It was so fun, we had to drag our kids out.
Sunday we had friends and family over for what seemed to turn into an impromptu mini-party. LOL Of course, I didn't finish my papers that I had due at midnight, so come 6pm, I was back on the computer, with school books and all! I got everything in by 11:30pm. Phew!
Yesterday our good friends closed on their new, huge, beautiful home just 4 turns and 5 minutes (door-to-door) from us. :) We're very excited to have them as neighbors! The closing took forever, then running around with errands took up the rest of the day. In the end, we were finally home and settled around 9pm. A few NCIS's and our eyes were shut.
So today and Friday are my only days without social gatherings planned this week. I hope to get the house cleaned this morning (off to a great start!), get some homework done, wash the laundry and work on my birth announcements a little more. Oh, and hit up Caribou for their special Chocolate Happy Hour! They have a new Macadamia Coconut Mocha I want to try. Add the $3 drink with my $0.50 sustainability discount, and we're enjoying smooth heaven in a cup for a down-to-earth price!
