Hola! We had a great day today. The kids, their uncle and I were out the door by 8:30am. Dentist appointment went great (no cavities, barely anything to clean... poor hygienist!). Caribou Coffee after that - no, not a Turtle, but a Campfire Mocha this time! Carter's for some baby shoe shopping. I purchased shoes for $3.99 on clearance for Jakey in sizes 0, 1, 2 and 3. I was so excited - especially since it's been horrible trying to find size NB/0 and 1's. Post-Carters we did the McDonald's play land thing. Off to the dollar store next for silly splurges followed by the mall. I picked up two nursing garments, a birthday gift for our niece, Auntie Ann's pretzel sticks (cinnamon & sugar!) and Gloria Jean's white chocolate carmel cooler. Yum!
Now the whole family ate dinner, kids had a nap and we (me, hubby & the boys) are chillin' in the office as I attempt to start my homework. I have to write a speech (with cited resources that I haven't gotten yet) AND do an essay tonight since our weekend is packed with event-after-event/thing-after-thing to do. It'll be fun - as long as I don't slack too long. Yeah, not the funnest Friday night, but it'll be worth it to not worry about homework on Saturday and Sunday. Time to get my butt in gear!
