Superbowl XLV

Being a native Chicagoer leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth for today's Superbowl game.  The Packers beat my Bears on our home field to represent the NFC in Superbowl XLV against the AFC's Steelers.  In a little for 8 hours from now, both teams will take the field.  I'm having trouble caring to watch them.

Yeah, yeah, I know I'm being selfish.  But hey, it's Green Bay.  Deep down, however, I sorta want to root them on to victory.  Call it Midwest love, or divisional loyalty.  Or maybe it will just be great to spite Favre (although I have no particular hate for the man).  No matter what the feelings are, I can't bear to say I'm rooting for anyone particular.

So I will be there eating junk while watching the pigskin get tossed around.  Well, at least I'll be checking out the commercials. :)
