Thank You Card using Cindy Loo

Hello crafters, friends and blog followers.  Tonight my husband and son decided to play in the snow after putting the garbage out (holy moly Christmas creates a lot of landfill and recyclables!).  Anyway, I thought I would take advantage of the extra minutes by making a quick thank you card for this wonderful woman who has sent me cookies, tamales, food, diapers and more throughout my pregnancy.  Today she sent me a huge box filled with newborn diapers... about 8-10 packages in the box, each with 90 diapers.  She told my hubby that she's going to get me a box of each size 1-5.  Wow.  :)  She deserves so much more than a thank you card, but it's the least I could do.

I used the Cindy Loo cartridge that my lovely sister gave me for Christmas. The flowers are courtesy of a friend who gave me a bottle of paper flowers she no longer needed.  The brown flower brad is Stampin' Up and the Stickles is Diamond.  Stampin' Up's craft card stock is the base (I love this color/product for card bases and animal/critter shadows... it's so... natural!)  I think the rest of the papers are from Bazzill, but I'm not 100% sure.  Lastly there is a rhinestone on the center of the Stampin' up brad that is a little hard to see in the photo above but is easier to see on the one below.

Easy and pretty.  It was weird doing this without my Gypsy.  I have grown accustom to seeing my sizes on screen and layering & laying out designs before committing.  I tease saying I have to do things "old school" until my new Gypsy (warranty replacement) arrives in ~3weeks.  How funny "old school" was just over a month ago!

Thanks for reading!
