RRR Christmas Cards (better late than never!)

So my Gypsy took a dive before I could finish my Christmas cards so I decided to make some RRR cards (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!).  Here are a few of the ones that I ended up with (courtesy of past-year cards from friends and family)!

Here are some close ups...

The Angel was cut from another card then layered over silver specialty card stock from a pack I purchased at JoAnne's. I used my Quickie pen to add fine glitter to her, giving her extra "bling".

The bell was taken from an card given to us
by my Aunt a year or two ago.

The green textured paper was taken from one card while the reindeer
was taken from another. Together, I think they look meant for each other.

Here is a card that I made that is not a complete RRR, but a scraps challenge.  I did take the silver ball cap from another card and put it together with some other scraps I wanted to use up.  Happy Holidays is embossed (hard to see in the photo).  I also tried out the MS glue stamp pad to make the flourished glitter pattern on the ball.  My overall opinion is that it is tough to work with.  Perhaps I'll try it again, but I wasn't impressed with the sharpness this time.  Of course, it could just be me... we'll see!
