A few days ago I wrote about my DH taking goodies to work next week Monday for Valentine's Day. (To see that blog, which includes the Valentine's Day Hershey wrappers project,
click here.) I finished the boxes that hold 2 Truffles by Lindt. I think they turned out cute! What do you think?
|
Each box slides out left or right. The flowers are random layers - good use of my scraps! |
|
I ran the slip-style tops of each box through my Cuttlebug using the hearts folder.
Each box was then wrapped with gold, mesh and white ribbon that reads "With Love". |
|
Here are 12 of the boxes I made from the top view so you can see different flowers.
Some flowers were made using brads.
When I ran out of plain brads, I switched over to using my Crop-a-Dile with eyelets. |
|
I couldn't decide which angle looked better - this one or the picture above.
So I put both up! :) |
Next up, sour cream containers filled with M&Ms. Mmmm.... For those, I'm just going to use a few pieces of 12x12 scrap papers, cut them to size and put them together. I won't be embellishing them. They're also going with DH to work. Hopefully you'll get to see those later tonight or tomorrow.
By the way, DH thought that the boxes were cute and that his employees would like them. We'll see what the response is on Monday. Personally, I love the truffles inside of them... the box is just a cute extra! :)
Thanks for reading!
