Good morning! Aren't you glad Friday is tomorrow? If you live anywhere near where I do, you've experienced a week of rain and overcast. Couple that with a chore list that is infinitely expanding, and you're just looking forward to any day that begins with the letter "S".
Let's talk first about Easter. It doubled with my birthday this year. I don't remember that ever happening; but since it did, I'm glad it happened now that I'm older. (I don't believe there were many clubs that open on that Holy Day. Those years have long passed, however, so it was ok.) The big bummer was that my hubby didn't realize that the stores were closed Sunday and had waited until the last minute to: 1.) get food to feed our guests; and 2.) pick up my gift that the family was splitting. So needless to say, I was the one with him who ran through the local Dominick's looking for food that would be ready within 2 hours, to then rush home and prepare everything for dinner. Yeah, thank goodness it was only family because he didn't even leave me with enough time to shower. (Sorry hun if you're reading this, but it is my blog *kiss*) Oh.. that gift - I got it yesterday... better late than never - and I love it!
Since Monday, I've been trying to get a grip on everything that was put aside during the week preceding Easter. I'm making progress, although not quite as much as I would like or as quickly as I had hoped. I want to tackle my home office which became the dump site of all things paper. I need to reorganize this weekend.
Oh, and write a final paper for my sociology course.
And take two finals next week.
Better get a move on things this morning. But I definitely wanted to say hi and let you know I will pick up posts next week when things come together better.
