Jacob's Baptismal

Happy day after Memorial Day!  So this was about the busiest week ever!  We had the big "B" on Sunday for Jacob.  He is officially Baptized!  Thanks to everyone who helped make the day so special! :)  I have to do some old school shout-outs for a few:

HUDSON!!! A.K.A. The Godfather, El Padrino.
Thank you for all your help with everything - from bringing the swingset over, preparing for the big day, and mowing the lawn (awesome job by the way).  You totally rocked!

CHRISTINE!!!  A.K.A. Godmommy.
Can I say Jakey was uber-cute in his get-up :)  His cross and Bible are so beautiful too!  Thanks for your help and accepting such an important role!

ALPA!!!
Thanks for all your prep work and letting us steal away your hubby.  I know the wife has SO much behind-the-scenes responsibility.  You know the saying - behind every great man is a great woman.  Don't worry, we know you were behind it all! :) And I have to say, giving Jacob your childhood necklace to hold his cross is so very special- words cannot express the gratitude we all feel.  Thank you doll!

KIM!!!!
The cakes were FANTASTIC!  I've had a ton of people ask about you, so with your approval, I would like to pass on your name & number.  The chocolate cake with the andy's filling was delicious! And the white cake with bavarian cream and fresh strawberries was just as tasty!  You are one heck of a baker woman!

BIG BROTHER ALEX!!!
Such a proud, supportive big brother.  Alex was a complete doll, behaved beautifully and looked so darn handsome.

TITA JESSICA!!!
Thanks for helping set up for the party and for every bowl you filled, garbage you changed, and dish you picked up.

TROOPERS!!!
So it was raining cats and dogs. In fact, as Jason described it, the rain was so hard that it would land, bounce back up, and hit you in the head a second time just for laughs.  For those who took on mother nature and conquered her, thank you too!

And the star of the day, JACOB!!!
Jacob was a doll during the whole thing.  He fussed for a whole 5 seconds once.  Nothing the binkie didn't fix.  He was baptized in water without a flinch and enjoyed all the attention he received.  We are so proud and happy.

Here are a few pics from the after party.  I have so many more on the other camera - I just haven't gotten that far.  But to start, I have at least a few.
